Founded in the late 1980s, with a family tradition spanning 12 generations. Since 2009, the estate, which boasts 7 hectares of vineyards, including some prestigious Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels in the communes of Gevrey-Chambertin and Corton, has been managed by Charles Magnien, Henri's grandson. This Gevrey-Chambertin is produced with Pinot Noir grapes from a parcel in the Premier Cru Les Champeaux, one of the most prestigious in the Côte de Nuits. Here, optimal exposure and a soil composed of calcareous marl and clay contribute to creating a powerful and elegant wine. After harvest and vinification, the wine ages in a mix of new and used French oak barrels. In the glass, the wine reveals a brilliant ruby ​​color. Its aromatic profile is broad and fragrant, with characteristic notes of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry intertwined with floral and spicy hints. The influence of the wood is extremely well-balanced and respects the wine's natural aromatic elegance. On the palate, it has good complexity and a medium body.
